Q4: I saw the TIMELINE™
page - isn't this site just for black people?
|
A: No - we always promote equal opportunities and embrace diversity.
While some of our content is clearly created from a black perspective, all of our work is intended to be universal in its accessiblity.
The topics we address have wide interaction issues at both local & global levels. TIMELINE™ is a perfect example of this - black people are by no means the only ones affected by a weak grasp of African History.
Think - if you practice Indian Yoga, read your Chinese horoscope or eat spaghetti bolognese, do you neglect your own heritage or do yourself a dis-service?

Q6: Why the strange name?
|
A: The name comes from 2 of Britain's most famous artists who added strong social commentary to their artistic work.
While William Hogarth was inclined towards political & social satire, William Blake had a more visionary feel to his work.
Both of these men lived their lives with a spirit that we admire: they highlighted many of the contradictions of their time and held the desire to open peoples' minds to a more positive reality.
