Anthony Browder - IKG
Based in Washington D.C., IKG is an educational organization that is devoted to the re-discovery and application of ancient African history, culture and wisdom.
It was founded in 1981 by Anthony T. Browder who sought to challenge the distorted perceptions of Africa that are perpetuated in the media and in classrooms worldwide.
Under the direction of Mr. Browder, IKG has sponsored 1000s of lectures, workshops and conferences that have featured presentations by renowned historians, scientists, psychologists and scholars that discussed aspects of African, African American and world history, culture and philosophy.
Mr. Browder has traveled to Egypt over 35 times and has lectured on topics pertaining to African and African American history and culture in multiple forums throughout the United States, Africa, Europe, Japan, Mexico and the Caribbean. Since 1987, Mr. Browder has personally escorted study tours to Egypt, West Africa, South Africa and Mexico.
These study tours consist of field trips and seminars that are designed to re-acquaint the participants with the wonders of African history and culture. Under his direction, IKG has published six titles and two study guides which are currently being used in school systems throughout the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, England and Japan.
Anthony is the also the author of several modern classics on African history & theology including: 'Nile Valley Contributions To Civilization, 'Egypt on the Potomac', 'Survival Strategies' & 'From the Browder Files'
