Twilight Bey

Davey D

Twilight Bey speaks to Breakdown FM on the 1992 LA Gang Truce & the LA Riots... 10 Years on!

First aired in April 2002, this is described as:

"... probably the realest interview you will ever hear about gang life, the efforts to bring about peace and the role police and other outside forces played in disrupting the progress undertaken by those who were on the frontline trying to make a better tomorrow..."

After the infamous LA Riots of 1992, Twilight Bey was one of the key figures involved in the truce negotiations between incensed residents, local gangs & government forces.

Ten years later, Twilight Bey gave a feature length interview to hip hop guru Davey D on the LA riots, the resulting truce & dozens of related topics including daily gang life, police brutality, the prison industrial complex, CIA's CoIntelPro Department and much, much more.

Includes quotes from rapper Ice T, local LA residents, gang members, eyewitness accounts and more. Not for the faint hearted...
